Agape Vision Global is a movement of people compelled by God’s love and driven by God’s purpose to live the Great Commandment and fulfill the Great Commission in our everyday lives through living a life of obedience, faithfulness, and fruitfulness.

Agape Vision Global exists to glorify God by catalyzing a movement that drives transformational development to accelerate the fulfillment of the Great Commission.

In early 2007, God implanted in Rev. Peter T. Mang the passion for LOVE NEVER FAILS™, a God-given purpose for Agape Vision to glorify God by catalyzing transformational development through living the Great Commandment and fulfilling the Great Commission in our everyday lives. Agape Vision Global was founded by Rev. Peter T. Mang on June 28, 2009.

At A Glance

The DNA

Following his conversion in March 1998, Peter began to have a heart to serve in ministry. In 2002, during his theological study, he discovered God’s purpose for his life, in 2007, he discerned his God-given purpose for Agape Vision, and in 2009, he began to pursue God’s calling on his life.

In March 2007, Peter began his career in recruitment and started Agape recruitment and employment service from a humble beginning. It was operated for two years and closed in June 2009, since God has led him in a divine direction to fulfill His purpose. During that time, he was stubborn, rebellious, and resistant to God’s call, and lived a miserable life. But God is always faithful, gracious, and merciful, and His love never fails him.

With a broken heart and contrite spirit and true repentance, having a changed heart and mind, and living a transformed life, Peter rededicated his life to God on June 28, 2009, to respond to God’s call to ministry and fulfill God’s purpose for his life. And God brought forth Agape Vision into existence “for such a time as this.“

Strategic Initiatives

Agape Vision Global has five strategic initiatives: Agape Mission, Agape Group, Agape Church Planting, Agape University, and Agape Foundation.

Transformational Missions Initiative

Initially started with 40 Days of Prayer and Half-day Fasting as an evangelistic ministry, Agape Mission was founded in September 2009 from humble beginnings and has grown into a missional movement with multifaceted missional initiatives to accelerate the fulfillment of the Great Commission in our generation.

The multifaceted missional initiatives include Evangelism and Missions, Discipleship and Church Multiplication, Entrepreneurship and Business Development, Community Development, Children and Youth Development, Resource Development and Mobilization, and Leadership Empowerment and Development.

Church Planting Initiative

In September 2011, Agape Church Planting was initially started as a church planting ministry at the initiative of Agape Mission, with the purpose of multiplying healthy disciples, churches, and leaders in every community in Myanmar.

In February 2019, Myanmar Church Planting Network was formed at the initiative of Agape Mission with the purpose of strengthening leaders, mobilizing churches, and multiplying churches to accelerate church planting movement in Myanmar. In 2020, the Agape Vision 2030 was launched with the goal of establishing 300 healthy churches among unreached people in Myanmar by the end of 2030. It was officially started in 2023 and has been extended to Agape Vision 2033.

Charity and Development Initiative

In September 2015, Agape Foundation was founded as a charity and development ministry initiative to provide equitable access to financial services, create financial sustainability for multifaceted strategic initiatives, and provide a holistic and sustainable approach to transformational development in Myanmar.

Agape Foundation is committed to providing equitable access to financial services and creating financial sustainability for Agape Vision Global and its multifaceted strategic initiatives to accelerate the fulfillment of the Great Commission. As of 2025, Agape Foundation has grown to have five funding programs: Charity Fund, Incentive Fund, Education Development Fund, Crisis Response Fund, and Church Planting Fund.

Training and Development Initiative

In April 2017, Agape University was founded as Agape Institute to provide equitable and affordable access to Christ-centered, high-quality graduate education, executive education, continuing education, professional education, vocational education, and technical education that prepare leaders for a life of sacrificial service.

Agape University is a private institution of Christian higher education in Yangon, Myanmar administered by the Agape Vision Global. We envision a leading private Christian university making quality Christian higher education affordable, accessible, and equitable for all. At Agape University, we educate, develop, and empower a new generation of leaders to be the catalysts for transformational development, impacting every sphere of society in Myanmar.

Transformational Entrepreneurship Initiative

Founded in 2020, Agape Group is a not-for-profit transformational entrepreneurship incubator and accelerator that provides professional and business services to catalyze holistic transformational development.

We envision a movement of missional entrepreneurship transforming people’s lives and creating thriving communities. At Agape Group, we catalyze transformational development to accelerate holistic transformation leading to sustainable development.

In March 2018, Peter Mang Company Ltd. was initially started as a private family enterprise from humble beginnings and, in March 2020, Peter Mang Company Ltd. was changed to an incorporated parent company of Agape Group and its subsidiaries Agape Education Services, Agape Startup Ventures, Agape Family Services, Agape Freelance Services, Agape Family Investments, and Agape Lifeway Consulting, Counseling, Coaching, and Mentoring.

As the catalyst for transformational development, we commit ourselves to live the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-40) and fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) in our everyday lives.

Jesus said, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13:34-35, ESV)

The DNA of Agape Leadership

A true Christian life is all about character that reflects the image and likeness of God. You must have a personal relationship with God, become a fully devoted follower and imitator of Jesus Christ, and completely surrender your life to total obedience to God.

Agape Leaders are people who live by faith in align with their identity in Jesus Christ, walk in truth being obedient to God and His word, lead with character doing what is right and just, act with integrity being authentic and accountable leaders, and serve in love following the way of Jesus Christ.

Great leaders live by faith, walk in truth, lead with character, act with integrity, and serve in love. These character traits are the DNA of Agape Leadership.
