Agape Church Plants seek to engage, grow, develop, and empower every disciple to engage their sphere of influence with the gospel and multiply healthy disciples, churches, and leaders everywhere.

Agape Vision 2033

Agape Vision 2033 is a strategic church planting initiative that aims to establish 300 healthy churches among unreached people in Myanmar by the end of 2033.

We intentionally seek to see:

• A healthy pipeline of new church planters across the country.
• New church planters who plant healthy churches that multiply.
• Church planting movements among unreached people groups.
• Healthy churches with a strong and healthy disciple making culture.
• Healthy church plants that become locally sustainable within five years.
• Effective church leadership and administration as part of a new church plant.
• Local or independent churches that value the support provided by associations.

We partner with called, equipped, qualified, and strategic church planters who are committed to multiplying disciples, churches, and leaders in every community in Myanmar.

We collaborate with like-minded sending churches, associations of churches, and church planting organizations to accelerate church planting in Myanmar.

We work among unreached people groups in Myanmar.

About Agape Church Planting

In early 2011, Rev. Peter T. Mang was called to plant a multisite church with house churches meeting in multiple locations, with a healthy disciple making culture that will multiply healthy disciples and churches across Yangon.

After much prayer and having received confirmation, with a deep conviction of God’s call to church planting, Peter initiated a church planting movement from humble beginnings. In September 2011, Agape Church Planting was initially started as a church planting ministry at the initiative of Agape Mission, with the purpose of multiplying healthy disciples, churches, and leaders in every community in Myanmar.

In February 2019, the Myanmar Church Planting Network was formed at the initiative of Agape Church Planting with the purpose of strengthening leaders, mobilizing churches, and multiplying disciples to accelerate church planting in Myanmar.

In May 2022, the Association of Independent Churches of Myanmar was founded as a voluntary association of independent churches working together to accelerate church planting movements in Myanmar.

In February 2023, we formed a church planting team comprised of the Board of Directors and the Executive Team at Agape Church Planting.

In February 2023, the Agape Vision 2033 church planting initiative was officially started with the goal of establishing 300 healthy churches among unreached people in Myanmar by the end of 2033.

We catalyze a church planting movement that accelerates the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
