Celebrating 17 Years of a Remarkable Journey of Rev. Peter T. Mang

Since the start of Agape Vision in June 2009, it has been a remarkable journey of living by faith, walking in truth, leading with purpose, acting with integrity, and serving in love.

Experience Highlights:

• Served as an itinerant Evangelist for two years, launched a door-to-door evangelism initiative in Yangon, traveled across the Ayeyarwady Region, and shared the gospel of salvation with over 1,000 families.

• Spearheaded 15 faith-based nonprofit organizations, established 7 network organizations, orchestrated 13 cross-functional strategic initiatives and projects, and scaling 9 diversified missional microenterprises.

• Developed and led a private nonprofit foundation, spearheaded charitable development and managed 6 strategic funding programs, expanding organizational financial inclusion and ensuring equitable access to financial resources within Agape Vision.

• Established and led a private institution of Christian higher education, created 20+ hybrid academic programs in 15 graduate schools, training institutes, research and education centers, and strategic initiatives, making high-quality education affordable, accessible, and equitable for all.

• Established and led a personal growth and leadership development initiative, equipped and developed 200+ leaders across spheres of influence while creating and leading high-performing teams, accelerating personal, leadership, executive, and governance development.

• Spearheaded resource development and mobilization initiative, developed comprehensive curriculum in leadership, business, missions, and ministry, created targeted training tools, managed resource allocation, and increased access to resources.

• Advocated for and led a children and youth development initiative that supported 200+ orphans and vulnerable children in over a dozen children’s homes and reached 2000+ vulnerable children in local communities.

• Catalyzed a missional movement initiative, directed missions intensives, led gospel outreach teams on short-term mission trips to various parts of the country, while organizing effective and fruitful evangelistic gatherings impacting thousands of people across Myanmar.

• Spearheaded a collaborative network of leaders comprising a diverse group of pastors, disciplers, planters, practitioners, and mobilizers, delivered comprehensive training programs, supported over 100 church planters in crisis response, and facilitated over 70 evangelistic gatherings across Myanmar, impact hundreds of thousands of people across Myanmar.

• Directed a coalition of movement catalysts for disciple making that launched movements of multiplying disciples; launched an evangelism and discipleship program that trained and equipped a few hundred leaders and established 200+ small groups, making meaningful impact on over a thousand people across Myanmar.

• Established and directed a strategic entrepreneurship development initiative, launched micro and small business development programs, supported business readiness for 50+ entrepreneurs, and allocated capital to 20+ startups.

• Developed and directed a community of Christians passionate about missional business, built a leadership team and established communities of practice, accelerating business as mission movement in Myanmar.

• Developed and accelerated strategic startup ventures and innovative missional business models across diversified sectors; spearheaded 9 diversified micro-enterprises spanning innovative education, vocational training, family services, startup incubation, micro venture capital, strategy and innovation advisory, professional and leadership development, and business and professional services.

• Developed and led a strategic quadruple corporate responsibility project focused on Livelihoods Improvement and Family Empowerment (LIFE), building flourishing lives, families, and communities across Myanmar, benefiting 2200+ children and youth, 800+ women, 200+ couples, 700+ families, and 750+ survivors.

• Spearheaded a strategic church planting initiative, leading efforts to accelerate church planting movement across the country, and expanding operations to five regions: Yangon, Mandalay, Naypyidaw, Ayeyarwady, and Sagaing regions.

• Pastored a multisite church with house churches meeting in multiple locations in Yangon for over a decade, launched a strategic church planting initiative, and started over 20 disciple groups or simple churches across Yangon Region.

• Developed and led a 10-year strategic church planting initiative aimed at establishing 300 healthy churches among unreached people groups in Myanmar by the end of 2033, ultimately making a meaningful impact on over one million people across Myanmar.

• Pioneered and led a voluntary association of independent churches, established a leadership team, and empowered healthy leaders to grow healthy churches that multiply healthy disciples and churches.

• Developed and launched 10-year master plan for Agape Center Multipurpose Building Project, spearheaded grassroots and nonprofit fundraising initiatives to secure funding for construction in Yangon, Myanmar.

• Built transformative innovation ecosystems and established cross-organizational partnerships and cross-sector collaborations.

• Catalyzed movements that drive transformational development, fostering flourishing families, churches, businesses, organizations, institutions, networks, and communities.

• Accelerated holistic transformation and equitable growth and helped make a meaningful impact on over one million people in Myanmar.
